When the full device is inserted in the wine bottle via its secure rubber seal the wine bottle dons its cute little top hat. Remove the stainless steel "top hat" plug and pour cleanly over the remaining disc. No drops or spillage! When done pouring, just add back the plug to complete the top hat. Made of 100% stainless steel. 1" W x 3" L x 1" H
